Join an unforgettable celebration of community spirit and gratitude in the heart of North Lake Tahoe this 4th of July! Incline Village’s 4th of July Celebration honors the local heroes who make our lives safer and brighter every day.
On Tuesday, July 2nd celebrate the community with a pancake breakfast at the firehouse, the Local Heroes Parade and Community Fair, and ITF’s SUMMERFEST (the return of Beer and Brats – iykyk).
On Thursday, July 4th, start your day with a pancake breakfast to support the IVCB Veterans Club and end it with a bang, on the beach… after a hiatus of five years, Incline Village is thrilled to announce the return of our awe-inspiring Independence Day fireworks display over Lake Tahoe to Incline Village & Crystal Bay. Once ranked as the 6th Best Fireworks in the Country, we’re committed to reviving this beloved tradition with even more splendor and community spirit. TAHOE CITY | Independence Day Celebration | July 4
This completely free, family-friendly activity lasts from noon until 10 PM, with tons of fun-filled activities packed into the day. Enjoy live music courtesy of some of Lake Tahoe’s most energetic DJs, fun booths offering activities such as face painting and so much more, followed by a Drone Show featuring 300 drones lighting up the sky at 9:30 PM. The 4th of July is arguably one of the busiest times of the year in Lake Tahoe. With an influx of people in the area, it’s more important than ever to travel responsibly. A few tips to have fun, stay safe, and remain conscious of the environment:
Stay Fire Safe: Leave the fireworks (and yes, even the sparklers) behind, as fireworks are prohibited in the Tahoe Basin.
Be a Respectful Event Attendee: Adhere to all posted signage before, during, and after the events. Park legally and in designated areas. Before you leave, make sure you’ve disposed of all your trash in designated trash receptacles.
Be TART-Smart: Consider riding a bike or utilizing public transportation like TART Connect to get from your property to the event grounds and help ease traffic around the area.
Want to give back? Each year on July 5, Lake Tahoe residents and visitors turn out for one of the largest cleanups of the year, hosted by Keep Tahoe Blue. Held at various locations around Lake Tahoe, you can participate in the Keep Tahoe Red, White, and Blue Beach Cleanup, and do your part to remove litter from beaches to help protect the area’s wildlife and the lake’s clarity.
